Spiders & lizards

Do spiders die or hibernate in winter?
Same question with lizards. I swear I recognize some of the lizards from the summer before.

Wikipedia says spiders can live from 2 to 25 years and the San Diego Zoo website says some species of lizards can live for 50 years.

I think "hibernate" depends on the species and what habitat you are talking about, but they definitely overwinter. They don't just die when winter comes.
