An element is a species that cannot be broken down into simpler pieces. Almost everything around us is made of elements. They are listed in the periodic table.

An atom is much the same thing, but can contain isotopes of elements. It is the smallest single piece of a material you can get. A gold bar is made up of many many gold atoms.

An atom is made of quarks and electrons (and possibly gluons, other theoretical particles). The quarks are bound together in groups called protons and neutrons.

Hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, gold, sodium are all examples of elements.

Atoms the smallest particle of a chemical element, consisting of a positively charged nucleus {containg protons and typically also neutrons} surrounded by negatively charged elements.

I presume you mean electrons, not elements, study hard.

An element is something that will be found on the periodic table. An atom is the smallest particle that exists. Examples of elements are: Fe - iron, O - Oxygen, H - hydrogen

An Atom Is A Tiny Particle Or The Smallest Piece Of Anything It Comes From Greek Meaning You Can't Break It Down Anymore An Element Is Something Made Of Only Atoms:)
