I'm sorry for your loss. Can you talk to her? Sure, talking can help with the grieving process. As for her talking back to you and telling you why, that just is not going to happen.

Unfortunately, with SIDS (if this is the case), it is rarely known why it happens.

Are you in a support group of any kind? If not, then it might be a good idea to join a group of parents who have lost children to SIDS.

Sorry for your loss.

Talk to who- the baby?
As to why she died, what did the autopsy reveal? Was it SIDS?

I've posted this before - I am a widow. I "talk" to my husband all the time, on a daily basis.

I am concerned that you appear to be asking if your baby will reply.

Is there someone you can talk to? Do you belong to a support group?

Again, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the amount of grief you feel. That kind of pain is insurmountable.

Go right ahead and talk to her. Tell her that you love her, that you miss her. That really does help with the healing process.

I think Judy made a great suggestion that a couselor or support group would be good for you. Talking to other people that have been through something similar can be very helpful and help you cope. Losing a child is a traumatic experience that no parent wants to deal with but it's ok to ask for help when it gets to be too much to bear.
