Well, my skin is by no means flawless. Right now, it is winter and very cold where I am. I have a number of pimples on my face as well as areas on my face that are overly dry.

Has someone been making fun of you because of the way your skin is?

my skin is oily, freckly, large pores, dry flakes...its a mess. but its mine so who cares if its flawless? nobodies skin is flaWless...some people just use more cosmetics to cover it up.

oh thanks girls, you make me feel a bit better.. No im just a person who would look in the mirror and say yuck. Same goes to flicking through magazines and seeing models with beautiful flawless face.. But i guess being flawless isn't beautiful not if you have ugly features...=] thanks girls.

Well, I'm not a female but thank you! But, I do know what it's like to have bad skin and to think that everyone notices it and is thinking less of me because of it.

I even wear a base to try and even things out some. The bottom line for me is, I don't find people looking at me strange or saying things to me about the condition of my skin. Also, like you, I am very insecure because of the way that my skin is. But, I realize that my fears are unfounded because most people are going to look at who you are and not how you look because of something that you might not have much control over. I find that just flashing people a smile and having a winning attitude says wonders and makes a great deal of difference in how people view me.

I agree. All you have to do is look at some pictures in the National Enquirer where they have posted candid photos of celebrities.

lol, I've been asked why I don't wear make up more often because I look so good with it on. I'm like well, I'm married, so I don't care to look good for other people, 2, I usually don't have time, and 3, I work 3rd shift in a factory. please tell me who I have to impress in
my job.
if your skin really totally bothers you, try looking up skin recipes on google. I have a 'biore' mask recipe for blackhead removal. works really well! I use it because I have an unfortunate habit of picking so its just best to remove the problem before I turn it into a bigger ( and usually more painful) problem.

My skin is completely flawless when you see me across a room.

But then when I go right up to the mirror and start poking and prodding and worrying it's awful. It's spotty, it's dry and flaky, there's a random open pore I can't get rid of, I have chicken pox scars from when I was a baby, and a random freckle theat I swear is looking a bit mole-y.

If you look hard enough you can find any fault. BUt other people don't get that close up to you and prod and poke and judge you like you do to yourself.

I bet your skin looks flawless when other people see you too.
