    Relaxers stink!
Ok... Im mixed black and white... My hair use to be really curly and then I got a relaxer... When I got the relaxer it made it so my hair isn't curly anymore and it just looks stupid... I have to wear my hair straightened all the time now... I was wondering if there is a way I could get a perm to make my hair curly again?? Not only then when I got the relaxer it has been breaking off my hair... it use to be really thick and not its really thin but just the ends are thin not the new growth... what do I do??

If you don't want to damage your hair further, let it grow out to the point where you can get a nice short cut that will be curly again.

If you get a curly perm on relaxed hair, it can damage your hair. You should consider using rollers to create curls until your hair grows out. This way you won't damage your hair.

Relaxed hair will definitely dry and then start breaking. Use conditioners to replenish your hair. You should also do a deep conditioning treatment on your hair twice a month. It will help strengthen and repair your hair.

Cut it as short asyou can be comfortable with, and just be patient. In 6 weeks you can cut your hair again. Back like new! In the meantime, condition it well. Good luck!

Cut it as short as you are comfortable with, condition well every day or so, and in 6 weeks cut again. Just be patient. It will grow back fast and be like new. Good luck!

No water! And I stink! [ 13 Answers ]

Ok, I live in a double-wide in the mountains of North Carolina. This problem occurs when it gets cold-cold-cold, but not all the time (I'm fairly certain it's not a freezing problem).
