Vitiligo and tanning

I have Vitiligo on about 40% of my body (for those of you who don't know, it means that those areas are without pigmentation). I would like to walk around with a nice, deep tan (I live in Florida). Could you recommend any skin stains and such that I could use, which would last a long time? Thanks.

I don't know if this would work or not, but have you considered Mystic Tan?? That spray on tan like on Friends when Ross gets really black on one side but is still completely white on the other?

hey i also have vitiligo, but quite mildly
i would suggest that you use something natural,
as some colouring chemicals can make vitiligo worse.

I have heard of the airbrush tan before but have no idea how good it is or what its problems may be.

you will certainly has too expose the affected part to sun for adequate benefit, if you are using any treatment for vitiligo. Many poeple use Taning bed for the for vitiligo treatment. But here under their are some advice for you about tanning beds and vitiligo.

The ration of the radiation of UVA to UVB in Tanning beds have a different than sunlight have.
Another thing about the intensity that the radiation levels are more intense, requiring individuals to limit their exposure to very brief periods.
One unanswered question is: what is the effect on the human body when it is forced to absorb such a large amount of UVA radiation in such a short amount of time?
For example, one study found that the amount of UVA radiation, which penetrates deeper into the skin, was anywhere from about 3-8 times greater in the tanning beds than in the light from the sun.
