marks on legs

marks on legs

Hi,

I have developed two marks on my skin above the ankles, on both legs on the outer side. there is one on each leg and they appear darkish brown/black in colour. it looks like some sort of pigmentation but i don't know as to how it exactly happened or what caused it. The suprising thing is that it is on the outside of each leg and on both legs.
I would be thankful if anyone could enlighten me on as to what it is.

PrettyLady - Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: NJ & NY Posts: 2,776	The discoloration could be from wearing boots, sneakers or shoes. They can leave bruise marks on your feet or ankles. If you are concerned about this, have a dermatologist examine your ankles for a proper diagnosis and treatment.
