lips

i have a burning sore swollen top lip. It doesn't feel like a coldsore, what could it be? :-[

You could be run down, sometimes my lips swell and burn whenever I'm stressed. Maybe its a blind boil under the lips surface, usually cold sores have a head and they tingle they can form into a cluster of blisters and are very uncomfortable, what ever don't touch them or they will spread that's only if you think that its a cold sore. It mite even form into a cold sore over the next few days. If it does you can buy some cream called zovirax from the chemist, this stops the cold sore forming.
