I am an afro-american man an dI have developed hideous itchy sometimes painful bumps all over my scalp that bleed when I scratch them. Are there any suggestions to releive the itching and irritation and to get rid of these bumps. Also my hair doesn't seem too grow as much where the bumps are

I went to a derm and he told me that I ahd inflamed hair follicles and there is a chance that I could lose my hair. He prescribed me some medicine that was dispensed like mousse.

Please help me if you have any remedy in mind
