Stretch marks often appear on the breasts and abdomen during pregnancy. Also, yo-yo dieters and bodybuilders can get stretch marks on the upper arms, chest and thighs. Stretch marks are permanent in the sense that the skin in these areas will never be completely normal. However, after a time they contract down into much less obvious, thin, whitish scars. Unfortunately, lotions soothe and soften the skin, there is no medical evidence to prove that they actually work. Laser therapy will help improve the appearance of stretch marks. This is where a surgeon uses different types of lasers, depending on the color of the stretch marks. Traditionally, one type reduces the color of dark stretch marks, the other stimulates the production of pigment-making cells in already faded stretch marks. The Revitol Cream supposedly prevents and reduce the appearance of existing stretch marks. However, there is no cream that will remove stretch marks, creams only softens the stretch mark scars.
Hi, I used to have pretty bad stretch marks around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my two kids. I tried using VItamin E oil, Cocoa butter but it didn't seem to work . My doctor had infact suggested a tummy tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream, I tried it and it worked pretty well. My stretch marks nearly disappeared within 4 weeks. You can read more about the lady's article at the link below. And as for Revitol I don't really know as I haven't tried it.
