    Facial treatment
    Does the cosmelan treatment always work or does it have any negative side effect to the skin in african american women? How effective is the cosmelan for acne patients?

    Cosmelan is used to treat different types of hyperpigmentation and can be used on all skin types. You may want to consult your dermatologist, so that he/she can determine if Cosmelan is right for you.

    I really am confused, my facial skin is giving me problems, every other part of my body is fair except for my face which breaks out easily, black patches. I need to have an even toned faced

    Discolorations on the face are caused from sun damage, hormonal fluctuations, or skin conditions. Try using a bleaching cream that contain kojic acid or azelaic acid. Alpha hydroxy creams can also reduce the appearance of age spots, acne scarring or dark patches. Also, microdermabrasion and glycolic acid are useful in treating discolorations. If your skin doesn't respond to these treatments, please consult a dermatologist for a proper treatment.
