Epsom Salts for Dark Circles? Charly84ec 's post

Hi, I saw on another thread from Charly84ec that he/she used epsom salts to cure dark circles under the eyes. I was wondering how he/she took it, how much to take, and how often. I have A LOT of food sensitivities as well as dark circles/varicose veins (and I am only 26!) and I was wondering if it might help with that. I have also tried the earthclinic remedy of blackstrap molasses for menstrual cramps and and it works amazingly.

Thanks

I dont know about the epsom salts, but actually has more purposes than just soaking in it to soften skin. Here are some hints for dark circles as well. Some of these sound just as good as anything else:

# Drink at least ten glasses of water each day.
# Avoid strain on the eyes
# Eight hours of sleep
# Do not leave cream on the skin around the eyes for long time.
# Close your eyes and cover eyelids with slices of raw potato or cucumber for 20-25 minutes. Wash with warm water.
# Create a 1:1 mixture of fresh potato and cucumber juices. Soak some cotton and put on your eyelids and keep on your eyes for 20 minutes and then wash your eyes with cold water
# Apply a mixture of lemon and tomato juice on the dark circles 2 times a day.
# Massage with almond oil under and around eyes at bed time daily for 2 weeks and see the development.
# Massage the area with a powdered Vitamin E capsule and wipe off with a mixture of honey and egg white

Epson Salts is "magnesium sulfate". There is nothing in magnesium sulfate that will cure dark circles under the eyes. It won't get into the blood stream if you take it by mouth.

This website is amazing. Multiple ways to use epsom salts, who would have thought it can be used as a hair volumizer as well:

You do have to be careful with taking Epsom salts orally. It can be dangerous in some cases like if you are pregnant or I think if you have high blood pressure or taking certain medications.
