Dark circles and puffiness under the eyes can be caused by several factors. The skin around the eyelid is normally extremely thin, and as we age, it becomes even thinner. In addition to individual genetic disposition, external factors such as ultraviolet radiation, pollution, and topical irritants can play a significant role in creating dark circles and puffiness. The discolorations are the result of engorged blood vessels around your eyes. While you can't do anything to change those factors, there are some things you can do to try to change your appearance. You can reduce the darkness in the short term by applying slices of cold cucumber or potatoes to the area for 15 minutes. For longer lasting results, use an under eye cream daily, it can improve the appearance of dark circles. Creams that contains Vitamin K and Vitamin C may help reduce dark circles.

I have been recently reading a book and it recommends vitamin k gel for under the eyes.. well I haven't used it myself but I'm sure it will work better then pills.. hylexin and other products similar to that may also work but they are really expensive. So if I were you I would go to a dermatologist and use what he/she reccomends if not try vita k ı don't think it has any harm and it'S also very cheap:)
Try it, if it works tell me please! I have seen many peaople happy about it read the recommends on the internet.. if you search for it you may see what it is like

Karandr36, there are external products that you can use to reduce the appearance of dark under-eye circles. Look for eye creams that contain Vitamin K and Vitamin C.

I have use the cucumbers on the eyes and I have used the vitamin E and C also. I also tried the potato and the tea bag thing too. For me none of things worked and I havan't found anything that would help either. Even consealer don't hide it that good either. But I have sinus problems really bad for 18 years now. I have been using herbal oils for the sinus which has helped but not healed it and I've been using this treatment for almost a year now. So good luck and hope you find something that will actually work! God Bless

At any age, you should take care of the skin under the eye - it's thin and very sensitive. Be careful what you put there. Sunscreen should be used on your face [that does NOT clog pores and has a high spf]. You should use an under eye cream. For the color maybe if you want you could put a little concealer some days. A fairly expensive company is Prox for eye treatment creams [for age and care]. Also there are many drugstore brands and probably ones at Sephora for under eye creams. You could look into some natural remedies too. If this only happens when you wake up you could put it on in the morning or use a nightly one. If not you could use one overall. There are many other options too though I'm sure. Also get enough sleep- it does affect your eyes sometimes!

There a few things that you can try to get rid of these dark circles at home:

    Sleep more
    Eat well
    Exercise
    Drink a lot of water
    Etc.
I found you a full list of remedies here: http://www.eyebags101.com/dark-circles-under-eyes

There are also surgeries that can be done to remove dark circles if you want to go that far.
