Hi,

Just wondering if you've had your veinwave treatment yet? if so how was it?

Thanks

Fingers crossed for you, hope it goes well.
can I ask, are your problem veins like thread veins or the more larger blue veins?

well they havn't been too clear with me on this. They look like veins because they are blue and not red or purple, but they are bigger than thread veins, but smaller than some veins. i'd say they are as thick as the ones on my wrist when they look normal and aren't bulging. But some people in forums have told me you can't fix big veins with veinwave so i'll ask at my appointment if i remember (as the nerves will be going)

Sound similar to mine which definitely aren't thread veins. I remember emailing some clinic which did the veinwave treatment about if they could treat them and I got the impression no. But as you've had a consultation they must be able to do them. Really hope it works for you.

well i had one place doing veinwave that told me no, and i was devistated, and then i went to see dr newman (the founder) and he said yes. But as i said, i still don't know what type of vein they are so will ask. But it cost me £250 to find out if he could do mine and i am on minimum wage, so it's a difficult decision. But i asked the woman at his reception tons of questions and she was great, and even remembered me when i went in 4 months later

oh he did say my ones would be tricky under the eye as they are stubborn and said i'd need 3 treatments.... to which i said i could afford one (and thats only because i have been living off cupa-soups to be able to afford that one). to which he said if they didn't go away we could do one follow up for free . which was great. but he said you can't do many treatments or you get scarring

Wish these treatments weren't so expensive too!

Well I will look forward to hearing about your feedback once you've had the treatment.
