    Hello!

Thank you so much for your reply. Iīm so so so happy that it worked for you and I canīt wait to set an appointment with the Berman Skin institute.

Iīm from Germany (Frankfurt) but I would travel to every place in the world just to get rid of these ugly veins under my eyes...

Whereīre you from and in which hotel in CA did you stay? Also, at which of the Berman Skin Institute have you been (Palo Alto, San Francisco or Walnut Creek) and did you deal with Mr. Berman in person?

Would be great if you could let me know. I canīt wait to meet Mr. Berman and really hope that this will also work for me...

Hi! I know, I want to spread the gospel because it's so amazing.

They've had people come from France to do this. I took digital pictures beforehand and emailed them to assess whether they thought they could help me.

Dr. Berman treated me himself. He runs the whole thing. If you look on the FAQ (frequently asked questions), you'll see they have a section on out-of-town visitors. They even mention a travel subsidy to help alleviate the cost of travel - you should def. look into that considering where you're coming from.

They often schedule the appointment that very same day (obviously they would do that for you) and if it works you're instantly cured!

I went to Palo Alto, but I think they do it at every facility. They have a list of hotels under the Out of Town here: Berman Skin Institute - Out-of-Town Patients

I stayed at the Motel 8 cause it's the cheapest - but it's nothing special.

I called them up and asked them a million questions. They're very nice.

You can send your questions from the email addresses listed on this page:
Berman Skin Institute - Contact Information

If you have more questions, let me know. I want to help other people get cured!

    Keep us updated!

PS - I'm from Chicago, so it wasn't as big of an ordeal as it would be for you. But like you, I would have paid almost any price to be rid of this problem!

    Hello again!

Just had another look at the Before & After pictures at the Berman web site and WOW... it is absolutely just so amazing! I kept searching for sooo long and I still almost canīt believe that there is really a cure for this...

I have not yet looked at the FAQ so I was actually not aware that they have a section on out-of-town visitors. Thatīs very very helpful so thank you very much for this information.
Also, it is good to know that they are very nice even if you ask a million questions :-)

I will now start as a first step to take some digital pictures which I will forward on to them and if they think that they can help me I will definitely go for it. Since Iīm from Germany it may will take some time but of course, I will definitely keep you all updated on the result...

Thank you so so much once again for all of your time and help on this. Thatīs just so lovely :-)))

It is amazing! I can't stop sneaking looks at my brand new face!

It's because of their advance laser technology. I'm not sure if other places have this, so you may want to Google that exact laser name - I think it's called CoolGlide Excel - to see if there are any other places (perhaps in Germany?) that have it. My research turned up nothing. I don't think many places have the capability to do face veins. I think it's a pretty new form of technology.

That's what started me on this. My mom told me once that the doctor saud there was nothing that could be done because it was too close to my eye. Than I realized that that was 20 whole years ago and they might have come up with something new in the meantime. Turns out they did! Best of luck!

    Hi!

Actually I already did Google on the exact laser name and indeed found only one institute in Germany (I guess Europe is a bit behind on this new type of laser) who are using the CoolGlide laser, however on their web site they do not say that they do face veins. I will give them a call and try to find out but even if they are familiar with using the CoolGlide laser for other areas of the body (e.g. legs) it does not mean that they have the experience to remove blue veins around the eyes. So at the end, I guess there is no way around for me to fly to California to see Mr. Berman. But again, if I look at the amazing before & after pictures I think only Mr. Berman should be the one who should treat me. I have big trust in him and I think the chances of getting rid of these ugly blue veins are not too bad :-)

Letīs hope for the best... Iīll definitely keep you updated!

    :-)))

That's why I chose to fly all the way out to California. I saw those pics and did the research and this seemed to be the only thing that exactly matched what I was looking for.

I very much thought that the 6th picture must be you and when I saw it I was even more convinced to have the treatment done by Dr. Berman only. Iīm so amazed by the result and can imagine how happy you must feel now after the vein is not there anymore. I will send some pictures to the Berman institute within the next days. Letīs hope that they will
Come back with some positive answers... :-)

OMG, I'm sooo happy for you! I have the same problem for 10 years now and I'm just so happy to hear that there's something out there that works so well. Thank you for finding that site. The only problem now is setting aside the money for it =T I don't care, as long as it works.

From my experience, I was treated with nothing but the most exemplary and professional care. I urge you to take those reviews with a grain of salt, if my experience can change your opinion. That is precisley why I'm making such an effort to inform people about the treatment! This has totally flipped my whole life around! They were SO helpful. They gave me the doctor's direct line. He treated me personally, was so professional...

I actually mentioned that I had read the reviews and he said he couldn't believe what was being written. He felt it might be competitors badmouthing him. I recommend them 150%!

    Hey,

I'm glad you asked, I wanted to give an update. So if you look at my pic, which you can find with the directions I wrote above, there was some residual blue that's the cord that's left over after they zap it and the blood stops flowing through it (many people have it instantly go away, so says the website)

Dr. Berman said it would fade over time as the body absorbed it. Well, I was getting a little worried, because it went like this: First day=pretty much gone. 2nd-1 week=It almost seemed to be coming back!

I was thinking= OMG it failed! Why me! And I was upset about having to come to the board and say it didn't work. I knew I'd have to warn the girl from Germany so that she didn't spend all her money to come, it this thing wasn't going to pan out after all. Imagine spending $850 to have it look pretty much like it does after you apply cover up= faded, but still flippin there).

I was getting really depressed, but I did some internet research on the cord absorbing and it said that sometimes it will get darker as it comes to the surface and flakes off as skin (gross, I know)... So I decided to have faith because what else could I do (and I'm not talking religious faith, I'm not religious, just hope really). I was thiking: GOD, I would be the only one that this wouldn't work for, why won't this thing DIE already?

Well, about 4 days ago (cause I inspect every morning) I notiecd that it had seemed to have made progress in the middle and sure enough over the last several days I can SEE it going away for good. I can see a tan pigment where the iron is getting dispersed into the skin as the vein cord breaks down and goes away. It's on it's way out, but I know it will take a couple more weeks to fully go away. It's undeniably fading and I'm ecstatic. I feel like a butterfly coming out of the cacoon.

So, I had to come back and update you all any way that even if it doesn't 100% respond right away, don't despair. It's still working!

On your question, CFOX. Look, we're on the internet, so there's only so much I can do to show I'm being real. But, 1) I told you how to find my picture, which means I gave up anonymity to spread the word to my fellow sufferers that a cure exists. 2) I don't have to tell you how it feels to be us. I've lived with the same awful problem my whole life and now I'm about to be totally okay soon for the first time. I came here to tell you that, MIRACULOUSLY, there is an answer for us and we can live life as confident human beings FINALLY.

You can choose to not believe me, but you'd be losing out. I'[m so glad I just did it because now I'm on the way to being completely cured and I just want to let others know!

    Hey cleanbreak

Thanks for the quick reply. I have actually booked to see him in April and naturally just worried. Its going to cost me Ģ2000 for the whole trip so just wanted to be sure. Ive been let down so many times before. And on speaking to other experts they have told me that other lasers are more up to date and better at the job. Is it definitely the coolglide excel?

I just want to be 100% on this. Ending up looking worse would be a disaster!

Maybe I'm being stupid but where can I see your pictures, can't seem to find them. Thanks again

I totally understand. I just went through it myself. I definitely wanted to get that information to you guys about my ongoing healing process.

Like I said, we're all in the same boat, so I know how you feel.

Go to Berman Skin Institute-->Before & After--> Select CoolGlide Laser from the drop down menu-->Mine is pic #6.

Like I said, I think most people have it go away instantly - like that lady in pic 4 or 5 that had ones faaaar more prominent than mine. But, mine is particularly evil I spose and is making a final stand - like some hideous monster that has to thrash around and wail before dying. But it is on the way out and I can tell now that it's going to be gone completely in a few months.

Here's my advice, just in case: Mine didn't go away 100% right away, like I said. Dr. Berman said that the question for huim was whether we'd gotten the blood to stop going through it, which meant that is had been successfully damaged and only the remaining cord had to be reabsorbed by the body.

So, he told me to come back in a few hours (since I had a bunch of time before my flight) to let the skin cool off and he'd look again and see if he felt I needed more treatment. He said overtreating it can be bad for the skin. So, I came back and he felt he could zap it again just to make sure.

So, I'd book my flight if I were you so that you have a little time to hang around that day, just in case.

That's part of what made me like Dr. Berman so much, because he's a really bust guy and it was nice of him to make time to look at me again that day. He also said he'd touch it up for free in a month if it looked like it hadn't worked. But, I'm not going to go back because it got taken care of.

I'm very grateful to Dr. Berman because as you'll see from my pic, mine came veeeeryy close to the eye and I was so worried that it was too close to treat safely with the laser (my parents had been told that it could never be fixed because of this) but he was able to do it!

If you are really worried, I suggest sending some digital photos to them (the address is on the site), then they will tell you if they think it looks treatable. This is exactly what I did because I was so woorried about the location of the vein and I was also worried about spending that much money (though less than you!). So do that if it will ease your mind, I certainly would if I had to mount an international flight to seek treatment.

Best of luck, I'm very confident that this will solve your problem and free you!

And yes, it is definitely the CoolGlide Excel laser. I was really worried because my skin scars extremely easily, but it sends light waves only to the vein and not the surrounding skin. I had no scarring or anything like that. It does hurt a little, but totally bearable. If you're like me, you're like DIE VEIN, BURN IN HELL! :P

Thanks again, well I'm going to be there for a few days after the treatment, might as well see san fran whilst I'm there, coming from the uk so it makes sense. Just another question, I have prominent veins near the corner under the eye nearer the nose does he treat those too?

So you think its definitely fading. I'm on holiday in July and would like it to be gone by then. Im a man and have to wear cover, very embarrassing. But it works so hey!

Fingers crossed it will work x

Yeah for sure. It's rapidly going away. It's as if it's collapsing into my body. It started in the middle and now the ends are just going away. Every morning it's noticeably better. I had one on the other side too and that went away instantly.

Yeah, I think they can pretty much do it anywhere on the face, and he was able to do mine even though it came riiihghht near my eye, like within a quarter inch.

I can't say 100%, but send a pic if you want to make sure. I was very nervous when I sent mine because I'd already booked flights and spent money that couldn't be refunded but the nurse was like, "I wouldn't be nervous, it looks very treatable" and then Dr. Berman confirmed in an email.

I looked into it (bot not too extensively) and from my research I concluded that Dr. Berman is one of the only people to do face veins like ours.

Let us know what happens. Believe me, I spent years (whole life) with this unhappiness so I can't believe the technology exists to just fix it. That's why I say, just do it and we can all start living our lives as the people we were meant to be!

I think it'll be good later in life because we understand how it is to feel like a monster and we also get the joy of a fresh new life. That's why I want so much to spread the word because it doesn't have to be this way for us any longer.
