Go to your local public library. They have exactly what you need, a baseball price guide with photos and descriptions of all cards.

Your best bet would be to go to a local book store, to the magazine section and look for one called "Beckett Baseball Card Monthly". I know they still publish it. When I was a collector, I'd swear by the price guide in that magazine. They'd give you a fair estimate of the value of your cards.
