Wow! A 1953 set of baseball cards in mint condition? What is included in the set? How have you protected the cards? This could potentially be worth quite a bit of money depending on the players that are in the set.

They have Willie Mays and several others, I am just loooking for a ball park idea. The box was opened but the cards were not handled much so the condition is very good. Even based on an average condition I am trying to get an idea or a range.
Thanks

The cards have been in a box and handled very little, just looking for a range or ball park idea, I know Willie Mays is included.
Thanks
David

Do you have any numbers for the individual cards concerning what they are as far as Topps numbers since there could be more than one type of card issued for a player in a given year?

Also, is this set a complete one for Topps for the year 1953? I have a lot of baseball cards from the 1960's. But, I don't have any one complete set by a manufacturer.

Just in the spirit of sharing and also to give you an idea of possible value for your collection, here are images of a couple of cards that I have from the 1960's. Both of them are in perfect or almost perfect condition. I know that each of them is worth in the hundreds of dollars. Yours potentially could be worth much more. But, we do need to work on finding out what you actually have first.

Just the possible monetary value for the Willie Mays cards from 1953 in the following searches should get your eyes popping a little! I hope that yours is one of those cards that is listed in the searches.
