when a judgement is made against me in the state of N.C. do i have a right to keep my car and my house? The debt is for a credit card for about 16000. will they most likely lean my house? I just need to buy some time..but i need my truck for work..

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone elses. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

Generally, your personal residence is exempt from attachment for unsecured debt. Once the judgement has been handed down you may have to fill in an affadavits of assets. You can then lists some assets as exclusions.

I would contact your local court for brochures about this.
