Wage Garnishment

Quick question for all. If i have a credit card judgement against me in NY but work in NJ, do they have to file in NJ or can they automatically garnish my wages with the judgement in NY?

mr.yet Bankruptcy & Debt Expert Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: republic of maryland Posts: 1,634	The judgment would have to be transfer to NJ before an attachment can be obtain, but this is done all the time.
