release of lien
I was recently sent a letter from the courts called a release of lien my case was dismissed as far as owinf in back pay because my daughter is emancipated so the judge said I owed nothing further after that about 5 months later I received a letter called a release of lien and dont know what that means? pleas explain.

Apaprently they had placed a lien against some asset of yours to recover the support arrears. Since your debt has been cleared the lien has been released. Does the letter say what the lien was on?
