Useful Resources for UK debt advice.

While the recession deepens and the economy worsens more and more of us are having issues with debt. Also some of the tactics employed by banks, credit cards and other financial institutions, not to mention the explosive growth of the debt collection industry.

As with most things in life communications is the key.
Keep your creditors informed of your personal circumstances and try and negotiate lower/reduced payments until things pick up.

If they are unwilling to act in a considerate manner towards your reasonable offers then there is help.
There's a number of FREE debt charities that can assist in dealing with creditors and even help with debt management plans.

Are two of the best in the UK.
There's also National Debtline – Free, Confidential Debt Advice – Call 0808 808 4000 who offer excellent advice.

If you would like some personal advice from people who have actually been in this situation and assistance with other consumer issues, then Legal Beagles is worth checking out.
They deal with ever aspect of debt management from original creditors, debt collectors, court action to bailiff and other issues.
It's free to join and a friendly bunch. It's all done on a self help biases, with excellent advice and guidance.

What ever happens, DON'T bury your head in the sand.
Face these things head on and well prepared and things soon start to look rosier..
