forms for Postpone a motion for judgement

I'm currently involved in a civil case with my credit card company. they have filed a summon, i have answered but yet didn't know what to put on my defense so i didn't. Now they filed a motion for judgment. My question, Is there a form where i can fill out to request for a postpone of this motion. I live in California.

Thank you,
