My father passed away approx six (6) years ago and I was the executor of his estate.

I just found out yesterday that he had a balance owing on his Visa card.

The card was placed under my online banking page , nothing was ever sent to me in regards to this matter and the card was classified as ``not available`` when I tried to click on it to find out what it in fact it was.

I had to call Visa directly to find out that it was in fact my Fathers card.

When he passed away I went into his Bank personally to close all his accounts with the proper paper work and they never told about that card.

It`s been 6 years now ... am I still responsible for that debt ?

BTW... I reside in the province of Ontario
