Is the sol up or not?

I am a GA resident, I signed a contract for a car April, 2002....per GA law the sol a written contract sol is for 6 yrs. The car was repo. once (dont recall what year/month) and per my credit reports the last payment was Aug. 2004 so it was defaulted for the second time Sept. 2004....Is the sol up on my written contract? I have a judgement pending after I asked for the collection agency to validate the debt. They did but the amt. and whether they are the assigned is still a discrepancy? Please help!

2004 to 2008 does not equal six years, at least not with the math I learned.

Did you appear at a hearing, or has one been scheduled?

If you have a hearing date, you need to show up and at least defend yourself.

If you do not show up, or didn't show up, they will obtain the judgment automatically.
