Should I use a debt company

hello,

I live in Australia and am thinking about using a company that helps you get out of debt. Basicaly your wages get deposited into an account and then they give you a certain amount to buy food etc with each week which is worked out when you do a budget profile with them. They take care of all other bills and can tell banks that they will not be paid this week because a power bill is due, and basically swap payments around and stuff so your bills always get paid. I am earning good money but we are just stuck with high interest credit card bills that keep charging us more in interest and late payment fees than what I am paying off them each week.

The company I am thinking about using is called My Budget. They charge a base fee of around $400 and then an extra $20 per week. You dont have to pay them upfront as they take it out of your wages. They did my budget and it seemed to be reasonable even allowing for small things like paying off the kids laybys for xmas.
Im just not sure if I should use this company or not, are they usually very good or should I be weary?? Some advice would be appreciated..

Also what about a part nine debt agreement as my second option. Are these also something that should be avoided?

Thanks.
