Why do you say you don't owe the money? Did they sue you?Obtain a judgement? have you seen the court order ordering the garnishment?

The least expensive tactic is call/write your congressman for help. Also, write to US Dept of Education for a copy of everything in your file.

If you don't owe the money, why did you not appear in court when they got a judgement to ask them to prove thier debt. You will need to file a motion in court ( hire an attorney) to see if the court will review the debt.

Since student loans are done by social, it is not normal for them to go after the wrong perosn, did you go to college, did you get student loans?
could your parents have gotten them and you did not remember it
