medical judgement

My husband and I have had a medical judgement placed upon us. Can this type of judgement be deleted or forgiven? My husband has had four back surgeries; he has rods and screws in his back; he has a stimulator in his back which no longer works. This needs to come out as soon as possible. However, he cannot be put to sleep until his cardiologist gives permission. He also has a stint in his heart and has had a heart attack in January. He is awaiting his disability. He has permanent nerve damage. Therefore his legs and arms shake most all of the time. I know that we have medical expenses but I am the only one working and we are in a struggle. I am in the process of refinancing our home but this judgement has jumped up and has given great concern. Please help us with this!

If the judgement is a valid debt it can't be deleted. It might be forgiven if the creditors choose to do so.

This should not affect refinancing unless they have put a lien on the home. But it could affect your credit rating.
