late fees

I refinanced to get out of my chapter 13 two months ago. Problem is two of the creditors have reported me being late since I started the 13 in 2004. Also I put one months payment of my mortgage in the 13 and they charged me late fees this whole time, is THAT legal? I should be protected against that, so I thought. This company also kept money the trustee sent them after I refinanced and paid them in full. Please help.
