I just recently found out an old creditor placed an hold on my bank account. The amount they say I owe is three times more than I owe and I was never served a summons to appear in court. After consulting with friends I was told to have the judgement vacated or put back on the calender in civil court for a new hearing, which I did. The problem is that I'm a full time student and a single mom out of work so the money in my account is what I use to pay my rent and utilities, I also receive child support payments through this account, which has also been placed on hold. I have forty dollars to my name until my court date. I tried barganing with the collectors however they refuse to arrange a payment plain with my because they said I have enough money in my account to cover the amount they say I owe however if they take all the money I will be lose ever thing. Any advice
