how can i track my debt after 7 years?

Hi!. I am presently having my wages garnished due to a suit from a credit card company. This has obviously put me in gear. I am trying to find out how much I am actually in debt with other credit cards but my credit report doesn't list all the credit cards I know I had 7 years ago. I have moved twice so, I no longer have the old account numbers. Sometimes creditors call, but I am rarely home. So, my question is do still try to pay back these debts that no longer show up in my credit report? And how can I track my actual debt? a little advice, don't let it get to the point of a lawsuit. The amount of money that I have to pay now from court fees, interest and so on, quadruples the initial debt.

mirene28 asks: "So, my question is do still try to pay back these debts that no longer show up in my credit report?" If you don't have the old account numbers and the creditors don't show up in your credit report, how will you pay back these debts? I believe there are three large credit reporting agencies; you should get a copy of your credit report from each one. Work on clearing and cleaning it up.
