Thank you in advance for your advice. I live in Florida. I received a summons, with no court date from a credit card company that I owe $8300.00 to. I’m planning to file bankruptcy, probably chapter 13 in about 6-8 months. I’m wondering if I should respond to the summons to try to prolong the process before I filing bk ?Or, since I’m planning to file bankruptcy does it matter if a judgment if filed against me.
