I have a judgement against me and closing out on my condo this Friday!

Hello...I have claimed bankruptcy 3 years ago and didnt think I would have any trouble when I wanted to sell my condo. It is vitrually the 11th hour now...I am closing on my condo this Friday and my attorney contacted me today telling me that there is a judgement against me from a credit card company of $17k. This credit card was discharged in my bankruptcy but still has a judgement against me. I will be getting back abouyt $30k but I would need all this money to adopt a baby. I was told from my bankruptcy attorny that he can file a "motion to remove judgement". She said the worst case scenario, is that the $17k will be escrowed until I go ahead with the process of the "motion to remove judgement" She said that the process is $500 and will take as long as 6 weeks before it is finished. Will I get this $17k back within 6 weeks? I am so stressed because the baby is due next month. Please hlp if you can! Thanks in advance!

I would ask the title company if they can contact the cr card company to have the judgement removed as they need to provide clear title and you can show them your Bankruptcy paperwork showing the credit card discharged in the bankruptcy assuming you were in Chapter 7. I would think this would be the fastest way aside from having your attorney get involved
