garnished wages and job change

After I broke my leg and my husband lost his job I couldn't keep up with my bills.
Three of my creditors worked with me and accepted a settlement.
Discover Card didn't and had my wages garnished when I went back to work.
My company was having financial problems also so I was demoted.
I was given a lower position with less pay and I was told I had to take another paycut later. My wages has been garnished for 1 & 1|2 years. I got a
job offer at another company that starts off paying more per hour than I've been paid after 16 years of work at my present job.
If I start working at this new company can I more legal problems?
My husband started working at this company. Can both our wages be garnished at the same time? Thanks.
