    Frozen Bank Account
My bank account was recently frozen because of an outstanding credit card balance.

I live paycheck to paycheck, I called the bank and they just said an order was put through and that there was nothing they could do. I called the number the bank gave me for the company that got the judgement. I pleaded with them to allow me to work something out, being as I was not sent any notice, they sent notice to an old address. Well, have spent the last 2 days with no cash on hand, could not get to work and have no way of getting any financial help, I've tried calling this company and leaving messages but no one get back to me.. I am due at work tomorrow and have no way of getting there, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, can someone please give me some advice

Honestly there is nothing you can personally do to release it, they have went to court and got a judgement ( it appears perhaps you did not notify them of your address change ?)

To get it released you would have to file a motion in court ( which would basically take money you don't have)

You will need to get to work, pawn or sale something and get to your next paycheck ( and don't put it in the bank) ** also expect them to perhaps also garnish your wages if you owe them a lot the amount in the bank did not cover it.

This may sound harsh, but the time to try to work something out was when you found you couldn't keep up the payments. You stopped paying and didn't contact them. You moved and didn't leave a forwarding, were you hiding from them?

So they filed suit, obtained a judgement (because you didn't leave any forwarding) and tracked you down and found your bank account. Now you want to try and work something out.

As Chuck said you need to do whatever you can to get to work and to work out something with them before they garnish your salary.

Well what you can do is borrow $50 from someone and open up a money market account. I say money market account because they are on a different link than the regular bank accounts. Then I would go to a payday loan place online and borrow the money and have it directly deposited into your account. I hope this helps. I just signed up so this information might be too late.

I would not recommend ANYONE getting a payday loan. These ripoff loans prey on low income people and are just a step above loan sharking In my opinion

The gentleman ScottGem is correct. If I had a choice I wouldn't borrow a thing from the payday loan because there mark-up on interest rates is like 1000% or more. But the key here is if you have a choice. If kids need to eat, pampers need to be bought and all the other things that could be serious, then ultimately you are going to have to make that decision.:)

I don't believe they said there were staving to death, so before I would borrow money from a pay loan place, you check out local food banks if you are hungry, you take something you own to a pawn shop and sell it,

A pay day loan place is never really an answer to anyone
