Direct refusal

Hello,
I am wondering what it means whwn a Debt Collector says that if you do not return a call they considerate a "direct refusal"?

What does that mean and what will happen next?

it means they are trying to use words to scare you. And they are most likely some of the scum of the earth, Merely send them a letter that they are not to call you anymore. And that all correspondance must be in wiriting.
