HI,my parents have recently died.On the first day of the month following thier death I noticed social security had made a deposite. Since I was trying to close their account I look up social security on the internet. There I found that they pay at the beginning of the month for the previous month.Whit this knowlege I wrote a check on a bill that was still outstanding. Unfortunately the following month more money was deposited. I called with my conserns and was told that they (social security) would remove the funds as wellas the previous months funds. This was not a fraudlant act . I'm responsible to replace these funds? thank you
