My deceased exhusband still owes back child support.

My exhusband died Dec 30, 2007. He still owes back child support. Will I ever see this? He had not filed his taxes for 07 yet and the state would have intercepted the return. Am I or the State of FL considered a creaditor against his estate? It there any hope in ever seeing the money? We need it to support his/my son in college.

It is my belief that you must have an attorney file against his estate for the money he owes for child support. This is a legal way for you to get the money he owes unless his estate is zero. Good luck !

You would be the perosn with the claim on the esate, you should have an attorney file a claim in probate court against the estate. This is assuming he has an estate.
