Credit card suing me.

I was served I did not sign for it, if I don't show up and keep
having to deal with them after me, am I going to Jail? for not
showing up?
I can not pay at all, not 10/20 per week
how much is reasonable payment ? to tried to settle out of court?
If I go to court will I loose my car?
Can they do anything like the bankrupt? take all
my things furniture and stuff? Nothing worth anything...
can they come and ride my apartment? take what in here?

I am willing to go to court but I am not sure what kind of'
judgement would be, how am I going to live
old and alone and broke !!!

Not sure of what to do here?
I am being sued for 5000.00 credit card debts,
I've gone broke 2 and a half years ago.
I never own a home or anything like that,
I am working temp agency at 9.50 an hour, been at this job for 3 months
don't make enough money to live really, to live but with the bad credits
I can get a decent pay job and i am 53 years old, no college degree..
I own 17years old Toyota, and this computer 3 years old.

Okay, Here is the question is

do i need a lawyer? but i can not afford to get one!
the money I have in there is the rent and bills
I get 280.00 a week direct deposit.
I don't mind if they wages my paycheck,
how much do they take 20 percent?
are they going to Freeze my bank account?
BUt I can not go without the bank account, what so i do?
I live in Oregon, can I get a bank account in WA?

so stress out, i am having a hard time concentrating at work
and can not sleep
are they a lawyers? or the collector?

Yes, I feels bad and did not plan for today to come

sorry for the spellings I don't type fast, this is really hard
Please I need idea of what to do and how to go about it?
the paper said I have 30 days.

Thank you.

Ok, first, debtor's prison when out in the 19th century. So no, you won't go to jail. its also unlikely you will lose your car. Credit card debt is unsecured, so they generally cannot attach real property.

But you shouldn't ignore the debt. Show up on the court debt and plead your case. The judge may order a reasonable settlement. If you don't show up, they will get a default judgement then go after your wages and bank accounts.

No you won't go to jail, but yes you need to show up, if they have refused offers for payments you need to show that to the judge.

Normally they will not take your property since it has little value to them,
They can try and get a garnishment of your wages and take about 25 percent of what you make before you get it.

So you need to show up in court and explain and make an offer to pay what you can afford
