I need an answer to a complaint for money from Chase on credit card debt. I do owe the money but have no ability to pay it at this time. I am working with a debt settlement company and would eventually like to settle these accounts. What is the proper response to these complaints that will give me time to get my finances together? I have been served a summons in Ventura County California and have about 7 days left to submit my response.
