Chapter 7 and collection

Hi,

I have had my chapter 7 bankruptcy discharged and I now have a company trying to get me to pay the liability after discharge. Can they do this?

What is the debt, was it an included and discharged debt.
If it was properly discharged during the bankruptcy then inform them of that, send them a copy of the discharge and tell them not to contact you further on it. Or merely give them your attorneys name and tell them to contact him about collections

They will try to get you to reaffirm the debt, never agree to anything without first see it in wrting. If discharged by Chapter seven, then it gone, but they will try to reaffirm it anyway. Dont do it.
