Canadian debt while living in US

Hi. I have a Canadian debt that is over six years old. .
I moved to the US in 2001 with my now ex-husband of 24 years. Our divorce was effective in the US in 2005, and included in the decree for dissolution was an acceptance of this debt by my husband. My ex-husband then proceeded to file bankruptcy here in the US and included this debt in that bankruptcy. The Canandian bank is still continuing to pursue this debt from me even after I have explained to their collection agency the situation and provided documentation of the transfer of debt and the bankruptcy in the US. Can this Canadian debt be enforced against me in the US?
