Question : Form W-8BEN

Hello all, First I'm not citizen, don't have SSN, just here in USA for a language study, I opened account with bank and 2 weeks after I just got mail that indicate "incorrect or missing information" with W-8BEN enclosed, they ask me to fill out on the line "Supply reason for US mailing address". Question is what does it mean?..a reason why I'm living here in this address?..because I'm here for study so I have to rent an apartment, should I put this on? If someone could explain what exactly is mean so I can answer them correctly and wouldn't be affect to my account (of course I still need my family support) I would be appreciate, sorry for my terrible English, as I said I have to study more! Thank you in advance |
