I also fell for a scam but it was not winning anthing it was suppose to be a part time job offer cashing checks for someone in the uk keeping 10% and western union them the rest BIG MISTAKE let me tell ya i did it ok and then the check cashing place sent me a letter stating i must pay within 14 days or it is turned over to a state attorney there is more to it but t to make a long strory short i am stuck paying back over 3,000 now it sucks when i dont have it to pay back i sent it to them . i am ##############mad as #########

Normally, I would have just deleted this since the thread you responded to was over a year old. But I felt an answer was necessary so I moved it to its own thread.

You are probably not going to like my answer though. I don't blame you for being mad, but I hope that anger is directed primarily at yourself. This scam (part time job cashing checks) has been around for a long time. It has been well publicized. So if you fell for it you should be angry at yourself mostly. You really have mostly yourself to blame for falling for this. I tiny bit of research would have revealed this for the scam it was.
