Dated cheque
I have a cheque dated from 2004 from canada, just woundering if the cheque expires after a certain date or it just stays good indefinetly.

As per the Practice AND Law of Banking, any cheque more than six months old is considered to be stale and not payable by banks.

But heck, you could get a teller off their rocks, try it anyways!
But I believe svpaigoa is correct and it becomes stale after 6 months.
Why not just have them issue you a new cheque?
