Can i give my banks my 10p,20p and 50p's?

I have sorted out my 10, 20 and 50p's into the small money bags (£10 worth of 20p's and £5 worth of 10p's), now can i just give these to my bank and they will give me notes in return. I dont know how it works, can someone please tell me? Thanks!

im sure you can do that but im not sure if you should put it all into a bank acount then just take it out from a cash machine but they may just let you swap it.

i have done it with 2p and 1p before and they were fine about it.

Just take them into the bank up to the service desk and they weigh them and sort it all out for you. I think it goes straight into your bank account but then you can take the money out again in notes. It's really easy and you don't have to do anything.

Hmm reminds me I need to sort out my penny jars!
