I went to school for many years and did my own work. My work is always good.

I want you to understand the assignment and also understand the short story. The first paragraph sets the scene and gives a sort of thesis statement.

Thank you for your exlanations and apologies, caroash09!

For you to engage someone here who can help you the best, it's just like school and you need to show the work that you've done for your teacher on the site.

Alsol, if you're going to learn how to write in English, please avoid using the chat speak.

Thanks!

You can of course post your work here without any risk of being embarrassed. We are here to help. Some of us here have been teachers in schools and in other places for a very long time.

Thanks!

Stop being huffy! We want YOU to learn. I've learned all this already. I do not want you to copy what I write, but learn from what I write. We will be happy to help, but only HELP! not do your work for you so you can copy.

I do understand what you mean by being "huffy", Wondergirl. But, that is English slang and I would appreciate an explanation from to for caroash09 as to what it means.

Again, we are here to help you, caroash09, and are glad to do so!

Thanks!

huffy = like a chicken who fluffs and ruffles her feathers when she has been pushed off her nest

Context should help too.
