    Z Garcia painting (Native American)
I have a beautiful native american painting of an Indian (life like) with the feathers blowing into the picture and fading in. The signature on the bottom right corner looks like a cursive Z and Garcia. Does anyone kknow who the artist is?

    Hi, zitro106!

There are quite a few artists who have the name of Garcia. If you could post an image here of the painting that you have, that would be helpful. We don't guarantee results, but we can try!

    Thanks!

I hope this worked! Here is a picture of the "Native American Indian". Anything you can tell me would be helpful. The artist looks like Z Garcia. I tried to take a picture of the signature but it didn't come out.

    Hi, zitro106!

You did a great job of posting the image!

I've been unable to come up with anything yet about the artist. However, I did find an ad on craigslist.org where a similar type of painting is for sale and the artist is Garcia. The painting is for sale for $80.00. If you contact the person who has placed the ad, he or she might be able to tell you something about the artist. I will keep looking, though...

    Link is here.

I'm quoting something from the ad below because the ad will expire after awhile.

Thank you, I will take a look on craigslist. Any help would be much appreciated. I am wondering if it would be worth having a few minor areas repaired. Don't want to put too much money into it if it's not worth much.

We have also recently acquired a Native American Portrait of Comanche Indian (Scar), also painted by "Z Garcia". We had 2 minor areas we are considering for repair. Wish we knew more about the artist.

Did anyone learn more about this artist? I have a beautiful print that I purchased at Goodwill. I plan to have it framed. It is signed Z (large) Garcia in the right hand corner and has a print date of 1992.

I would be interested in buying an oil, as shown on this thread.

Upon reconsideration about the signature, I am not sure that the first character is a Z. However, the signature is definitely like the one on the first picture in this thread. The style is really beautiful.

I also have one of these Indian paintings by Z. Garcia that is very similar to these. I bought it in the 80's from a then art business that use to sell to in home parties. I also, am wondering what the value is.
