| | | Where is the Artist in you? "We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere." (Tim McGraw)
As a continuation of the Artist in you thread....
"Sometimes I look at a painting by another artist and I see a universal language that we're both trying to express. I feel that we're on the same path, that we share the same intentions, and that's inspiring to me. " (Birgit O'Connor)
"At moments we are all artists."(Arnold Bennett)
"The wonder is that artists can stimulate other artists." (Nick Farbacher)
"The artist is not a different kind of person, but every person is a different kind of artist." (Eric Gill)
All the quotes above make a ripple in my soul and they are true,I couldnt resist sharing them.
Where are you my dear Art friends?
Would love to see your Artwork. Disclaimer:It is upto each of you to protect your original works from being copied, please do take the neccessary steps to stop piracy of your work. | | | | | | |

| I was wondering and waiting to see what you were going to do, firmbeliever about continuing "The Artist in you!" thread in some way or not.
Is this thread to be all-inclusive such as involving those who are in the performing, literary, craft, and theater arts, etc.? That is just a short list. There is an artist of some kind in all of us...
You already know what kind of artist that I am...
Thank you! |

| Hi Clough,
I am not sure about All-Inclusive,it is upto you as the Art expert being an artist in so many fields you should decide.
My field is Art on paper or fabrics, drawing, painting, crafts in general etc,so I am less familiar with performing Arts.
Maybe you could start one in performing Arts, including Theatre, music etc |

| Thank you for your reply, firmbeliever and being open to some discussion concerning where we are headed after the major success of "The Artist in you!" thread.
I have many thoughts and feelings about arts of many kinds and would like to see each thread in the Art topic area be successful and an enriching thing for anyone seeking information about any kind of art.
As such, I will post more here to share with you about some of my ideas and also yours after I have had a good nights rest and can think more clearly.
Thanks!
P.S. By the way, the surprise that I have for everyone concerning "The Artist in you!" thread is almost completed and should be posted within the next few days! Once you have seen it, you will understand more of what I am meaning with what I will post next on this thread. |

| This is it so far,now I gotta tell you, I like old and ratty looking things.....
Anything that isn't perfect, is PERFECT to me.
So the most important thing here is what it says, it has been very special to me ever since the day I saw it in Allhearts sig. I have a few finishing touches to do to it, but I think it looks nice imperfect and plain. Hope to see some "stuff" from all of you as well!
Firmy, I know you have been busy with your cards and boxes, but it would be really great to see what you have been busy doing!
EDIT::::::::::::::
Getting frustrated trying to get my pic to load...LOL this may take a while or another puter.... |

| Hey artlovers! I've been browsing the 'Artist in you' threads and wow is there some talent there huh? I was wondering, as I am not too familiar with adding pics, what size do they need to be? At the moment they're all 1920x2560 or 1.60mb. Is this too big? |

Yes, that's too big. But, we do have people here who can help you to learn how to re-size your images so that you can post them on this site. |

No. Please don't post what you have to offer in one of the computer sections. There are various art topic areas where you can and will be able to post images of your art. Thank you! |
