Manga or manga and anime?

Hi there everyone! I have a question that has been bothering me. When I grow older I want to become a manga artist to draw my own manga comic. When I draw my own manga can I do the anime for it myself? Or is it a "Whoever gets there first gets it" thing.

I don't know it most likely depends on who you are working for and what they want.
In the meantime here is a website you might like to get involved with my daughter had her work on there.
They use to have mostly anime and manga. There are other websites too that might be more anime and magna than shadowness seems to be now.

So it's basically all up to the person i'm working for? If it is, could I be that person? That way I could do both manga and anime.

sure I think you could start your own and then it would be up to you to do how you choose.
But as I was saying you should start out putting your art different places. Make sure you keep all originals with the days you did them somewhere safe for a portfolio and that also helps as a time line for your art.

I have all of my art in a folder and on the 50megs.com site below for safe keeping.

Since both of you are into art, how about coming over and joining those of us also into art of various kinds, on the following thread?
