Identify an artist

I am trying to identify an artist the signature looks like J hucson but could be J Augon I can't read the writing it is of a clipper (ship) on canvas and it is in oil the J is clear the H or A? The ucs (its a long tailed S so it could be a small g) an ideas

Can you show us a picture of the painting ? Because with you description it is pretty well out there, you know what I mean ?

As indicated by tickle above, it would be helpful to view an image of the entire work. And, I would like to add that it would also help to have a close-up image of the artist's mark or signature, if you are able to do that. Whatever you do post, I will be able to enhance and also post so that we might also have something good on which to do some searching.

I have a water color of a cottage in the country. It is signed by L. Bruyere. Does anyone know anything about this artist? I know that it has been in our family for at least 60 years. Any information will be appreciated.
